HOUSTON – Who cares about brain freeze? It's National Chocolate Milkshake Day.
Did you know that the original milkshake recipe included whiskey? Milkshakes were more of an eggnog type of drink served as a tonic. Now, the cold treat is usually made with milk and ice cream blended with chocolate or fruit syrup.

Hoppdoddy Burger Bar was chosen as the best milkshake in Texas, according to a PureWow.com list of the best in each state.
