Police identify woman shot to death outside southwest Houston home Woman, co-worker were on their way to work, police say
HOUSTON – A woman who was on her way to work was shot to death Monday morning in the driveway of a southwest Houston home, police said.
The shooting was reported about 7:30 a.m. at 12103 Creekhurst Drive, near the intersection with Keegan Road.
According to Houston police, Iris Valentina Teruel-Pineda, 22, was headed to work with a co-worker.. She was backing her car out of the driveway when a man walked up and shot her several times, police said.
Teruel-Pineda was pronounced dead at the scene.
The co-worker was not hurt.
Police said they are looking for the gunman.
