Houston police investigating fatal shooting at SW Houston apartments

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8918 Bissonnet St. around 9:35 p.m. on Aug. 11.

The man's identity is pending notification of family members.

Police responded to the Treehouse Apartments and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds near the apartment entrance gate.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported seeing two men leave the scene in a dark-colored sedan around the time of the shooting.
