Police release sketch of man wanted in murder
HOUSTON – Police are asking for the public's help identifying and finding a man responsible for a murder in the Galleria area.
On Nov. 12, 2015, around 7:25 p.m., George Thomas was shot inside an apartment in the 5300 block of Beverley Hill Street, according to police.
Police said Thomas had invited a man into the apartment.
A witness in the apartment left Thomas alone with the man and went to another room.
The witness heard a gunshot and quickly returned to the living room, finding Thomas on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head. The man was gone.
Thomas later died from his injuries.
The man is described as black and in his early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
