FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A man is being sought out by several law enforcement agencies following the armed robbery of two America Cash Advance stores within three days of each other, according to the Kemah Police Department.
Investigators said a white man walked into the America Cash Advance at 153 FM 518 in Kemah around 10:30 a.m. Monday and showed the clerk he was carrying a gun in his pants’ waistband. In response, police said the clerk gave him the money she had available.

The man then left the financial institution and head westbound on FM 518 in a small black truck, police said.
The alleged robber is described as a white man in his 30s, who is 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short brown hair. Police said he wore a blue shirt and blue jeans. A vehicle description was not given.
Surveillance showed the man wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap with the words “U.S.S. Pasadena…SSN-752” embroidered in yellow.
Investigators with the KPD and the Friendswood Police Department believe the same man is responsible for another armed robbery Saturday around 12:30 p.m. at the America Cash Advance at 3141 FM 528.
In the Friendswood robbery, police said a white man fitting the same description walked into the financial institution and showed the clerk he was carrying a handgun in his pants’ waistband.
The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said he was last seen on foot going toward the Kroger store. A Friendswood police K-9 attempted to track the robber without success.
In both robberies, no injuries were reported.
