Man accused in Houston ice cream shop burglary

HOUSTON – Police are looking for a man they say broke into an ice cream shop and took the cash register.

New surveillance pictures show the man police believe to be the burglar.

Police said on May 15 at around 1:00 a.m., a man broke into an ice cream shop in the 1600 block of Gessner Road. Officers said the man used a concrete block to break the glass door of the shop. He then walked inside, took the cash register and ran away.

Anyone with information about the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
