CROSBY, Texas – A Fourth of July weekend celebration took a tragic turn for a local family.
A 7-year-old child drowned Sunday morning in a Crosby marina, deputies said.

Emergency responders were called to Love’s Marina and Park on the 200 block of Highway 90 around 10 a.m.
Harris County deputies are investigating the incident.
