HOUSTON – A former Harris County reserve deputy and his common law wife are accused of having a "threesome" with an underage girl.
Charles Francis Walker, a volunteer in the Harris County Sheriff's Office, was dismissed and his license revoked after he was arrested Tuesday.
Court documents state Walker and Veronica Torres Trevino live a "swingers lifestyle" and that Trevino approached a 14-year-old girl about having sex with Walker.
"I didn't want to do anything, he's got a crazy lifestyle. That's his lifestyle that he lives, not mine," Trevino said.
The girl told investigators Trevino asked her not to tell Walker her real age.
She also said Trevino offered her money to have sex with Walker, and offered her makeup, clothes and hairstyling.
According to court documents, the girl had sex with Walker, who also had sex with Trevino, in the bedroom of the couple's home on Oct. 15, 2015.
"I was forced to be in the room or either he was going to do something to me or my daughter," Trevino said.
Trevino denied that she knew the girl was underage, according to investigators.
The girl's therapist confirmed her story to investigators, court documents state.
All of this came to light because Walker and Trevino were supposedly breaking up, and Walker wanted to get some of his reserve deputy gear at Trevino's place and police were called.
Walker, 48, is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17.
Trevino, 48, is charged with sexual performance by a child.
Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman issued a statement that read, "Whether you are employed by the Sheriff's Office, or serving in a volunteer/advisory capacity, I expect anyone associated with this agency to uphold the highest standard of professionalism. Mr. Walker's egregious actions tarnish the reputation of anyone wearing a badge whether full-time or as a volunteer."
