Seabrook man killed in east Texas crash

Two others died, one person hurt

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Three people were killed in an early morning crash in east Texas, including a man from Seabrook.

Nacogdoches police said Chace Scruggs, of Seabrook, was behind the wheel on East Starr Avenue Monday morning when the car left the road, hit several trees and caught fire, according to KETK.

Rajeen "Ray" Williams and Geena Zarick also died at the scene.

A fourth person, Trent Haynes, is in serious condition at the hospital. All are currently, or were recently, enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University.
