Man arrested in fatal double shooting in northwest Houston

HOUSTON – Police arrested a man Wednesday in connection to a deadly double shooting in northwest Houston.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Crestdale Drive. According to police, Sterling Chance Brumant, 19, shot two men sitting inside a black 1999 Mercedes-Benz.

Joshua Mckinnies, 20, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said. Darobie Stenline, 20, was found dead.

Police are currently investigating to determine what led to the shooting.
