Houston Batteries Plus burglarized twice within weeks

HOUSTON – An electronic store worker is concerned after the business was burglarized several times in less than a month.

Employees at a Batteries Plus at 13740 East Freeway said the business has been broken into twice in 15 days.

An employee told KPRC 2 News that on April 6 the staff arrived to the business to find the front door shattered and motorcycle batteries, air batteries and chargers stolen.

Again on April 21, staff arrived to find the front door shattered again and more batteries stolen.

The store representative said during the burglaries thousands of dollars in merchandise were stolen.
