2017 Bassmaster Classic to be held in Houston area

HOUSTON – The Houston area will host the 2017 Bassmaster Classic, the world championship of bass fishing.

The announcement was made Thursday afternoon in the Bayou City. The 2017 Bassmaster Classic will be held in March of next year at Lake Conroe.

Events surrounding the “Super Bowl of Bass Fishing,” such as an expo, will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston.
