Traffic stop nets 88 grams of amphetamine in Porter, authorities say

HOUSTON – A traffic stop in Porter turned into a drug bust early Sunday morning.

Police pulled over Blake Zimmerman, 21, at 5:45 a.m. for multiple traffic violations on Highway 59 near FM 1314.

Police said Zimmerman was in possession of marijuana and about 88 grams of amphetamine.

Zimmerman was arrested and charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony.
