Police: Shooting leaves 2 dead in southeast Houston

Two males were found dead inside an apartment in the 8700 block of Broadway around 11 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

Several males made entry into an apartment - with guns drawn. There were three occupants inside the apartment at the time. Curtis Jefferson and Trenton Harris, both from Houston, were shot to death.

The third person in the apartment woke up to a disturbance, and saw a man with a gun inside the apartment. He hid in a room while the shootings took place.

Drugs may have been a motive, according to Houston police homicide investigators. 

Suspects fled the scene.

The suspects are described as black males, 16-18 years old, about 125 pounds and last seen leaving in a 2012 Ford F-150.
