Deputies: 14-year-old boy bitten by rattlesnake, taken to hospital via Life Flight
HOUSTON –
According to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, a 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after being bitten by a snake.
Investigators said the family was having a picnic on Surfside Beach when the teen and his brother went for a walk. During the their stroll, deputies said a rattle snake bit the boy on his left ankle. Surfside Emergency Service responded to the situation.
According to deputies, the victim was taken to Memorial Hermann hospital via Life Flight in stable condition as a precautionary measure.
