VIDEO: Surveillance shows trio stealing thousands in clothing from Abercrombie & Fitch

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Sugar Land police are searching for three people accused of stealing thousands of dollars in casual clothes from First Colony Mall.

Police said two women and a man entered Abercrombie & Fitch shortly before 5 p.m. on March 20. The group placed several pairs of jeans in a bag and left without paying, officers said. Investigators said they returned to the store about 15 minutes later and placed several shirts in a bag and left again without paying.

According to the Sugar Land Police Department, the suspected thieves stole 30 pairs of jeans and 60 polo shirts valued at more than $5,500. They suspect the man and women could be the same trio that committed a similar crime at Abercrombie & Fitch in Willowbrook Mall.

Officers described one of the women as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall with a heavy build. Authorities said she had a tan purse and was wearing a tan top, dark pants and sandals. Police said the second woman was slightly taller and also had a heavy build. Investigators said the second woman was carrying a large purse and wearing sunglasses, a white shirt, blue jacket, denim pants and dark shoes. A release said all three people were Hispanic.

According to police, the man was about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a leather jacket, denim pants and dark shoes.
