Tennis star raising dog food for sheltered animals with every ace No description found
HOUSTON ā He holds the record for most aces in a professional tennis match, now John Isner is giving back to animals in need at the Houston Humane Society and pet shelters nationwide.
Isner, who is the top-ranked American tennis player, has teamed up with Texas-based Nulo Pet Food for a new partnership called Aces for Animals.
Under the partnership, for every ace Isner serves at The Menās Clay Court Championship at the River Oaks Country Club, Nulo will donate 10 pounds of food to the Houston Humane Society.
Isner was on hand Sunday at the Houston Humane Societyās southeast Houston location. There he played with Niki, a beautiful shepherd/Lab mix that is available for adoption. Niki loves a good game of fetch and is a big fan of tennis balls and walks on a leash.
