Freedom Over Texas entertainment lineup announced No description found
HOUSTON – Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner unveiled plans and the entertainment lineup for the 2016 Fourth of July celebration, US Family Health Plan Freedom Over Texas.
Grammy-winner Darius Rucker and Houston's own The Suffers will perform on the main stage.
Festivities include the Walmart All-American Kids Zone, a children’s entertainment area ; the Bud Light Backyard Bash, featuring a responsible party; Liberty Park featuring a stage and salute to the military; the Dr Pepper One of a Kind Zone where visitors can enjoy drink sampling; and the fireworks finale sponsored by CITGO.
The celebration runs on July 4 from 4 p.m. through 10 p.m. at Eleanor Tinsley Park along Buffalo Bayou.
