NCAA prohibits concealed weapons, backpacks, diaper bags at March Madness Music Festival

List is very specific of what can be brought to festival

The festival is an official Final Four event, which means people who attend must abide by the NCAA's rules.

HOUSTON – The Final Four festivities in Houston will include an exciting event at Discovery Green, but there are many restrictions on what can and can not be brought to the grounds.

The free March Madness Music Festival is April 1 through 3.

The festival is an official Final Four event, which means people who attend must abide by the NCAA's rules.

No guns will be allowed. That means no concealed or open carry.

The NCAA also has rules about what kind of bags you can bring to Discovery Green.

Backpacks, large purses, camera bags, binocular cases, fanny packs, seat cushions, diaper bags and printed plastic bags are on the prohibited list.

Clutch purses that measure 5.5" x 8.5" or smaller are allowed.

Clear plastic bags that measure 12"x 6"x 2" are also allowed.

You may also bring a gallon clear plastic storage bag to the festival.
