HPD: 2 men on the run from FBI after Montrose bank robbery


HOUSTON – Houston investigators with the FBI Violent Crime Task Force are trying identify and locate two men accused of robbing a bank in the Montrose area.

According to officers, the two men entered an IBC Bank located at Montrose Boulevard and Richmond Avenue at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the men robbed the bank and then escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

It's unknown if the men were armed.

Investigators described one man as an 18- to 24-year-old of medium build and 5 feet 7 inches tall. Authorities said he was wearing a black Chicago Bulls baseball cap, a dark blue Nike hoodie and black sneakers with white soles.

Authorities said the second suspect is a 28-year-old of similar height and build. He was wearing a black rain jacket, black pants and black Air Jordan sneakers.
