3 injured in wreck on Hardy Toll Feeder near Beltway 8 North

HOUSTON – Three people were injured in a wreck on the Hardy Toll feeder road near Beltway 8 North.

According to Houston Transtar, the accident was reported around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators said two Ford trucks — one grey and the other black — were driving in the middle lane of the Hardy Toll feeder road near Beltway 8 North when the black Ford ran a red light.

The black truck smashed into the grey vehicle and then hit a nearby post, police said.

Authorities said the passenger of the black truck and grey truck driver are in stable condition. However, police said the driver was left in critical condition.

All three people were taken to the hospital, police said. Authorities said Life Flight was called to the scene but not needed.
