Police: Family hog-tied, robbed of $100K, jewels, truck in southeast Houston home invasion

HOUSTON – Police are searching for a group of robbers they said forced their way into a home in southeast Houston and tied up the family on March 10 around 10;50 a.m.

The five masked men kicked in a side door to the house in the 4300 block of Pine Blossom Trail, police said. The homeowner, his wife, adult children and grandmother were home at the time. Police said the men forced the family into the bathroom at gunpoint, hog-tied them and locked them inside. They then ransacked the house taking $100,000 in cash, jewelry, tires, a safety bank and the family's Ford F-350. They left the scene in the family's car and a white Toyota 4-Runner.

Police say one of the robbers was an Asian male, approximately 20-30 years old, short hair, glasses, wearing black jacket, plaid shirt and gray jeans.

Police said a second man was an Asian male, approximately 20-30 years old, short hair, black cap, wearing a black shirt and pants. 

According to police, the third man was an Asian male, approximately 20-30 years old, short hair, wearing black jacket with a hood, dark shirt and jeans.

Police said the fourth man was an Asian male, approximately 20-30 years old, short hair with a red cap, wearing maroon jacket, plaid shirt, blue warm up pants with white stripes and white shoes.
