Christina Aguilera was the first to turn her chair, followed by Blake Shelton. Although Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine did not turn their chairs, they were no less stunned by her performance.

"It was so interesting to listen to and your (vocal) range is amazing," Williams said.

Davis not only amazed the panel with her vocal talent — her resume caught their attention.

"I've been singing since the age of 3," Davis said on "The Voice."

Davis said she has toured with Prince and has performed in various Tyler Perry theater productions. In fact, Perry was spotted on camera watching the audition with Davis' family backstage.

She has also found success playing Gladys Knight in "Motown the Musical." According to Bustle.com, Davis started her career performing besides Beyonce in the '90s tween group Girls Tyme.

"It's time for you to step out of the background. It's time for you to shine," Aguilera told Davis. "It's time for a female to win. It's time for you to win."

After moments of playful debate between the judges, Davis decided to join Team Christina.
