Suspected garage fridge beer thief caught on video

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A suspected garage fridge beer thief was caught on video and Friendswood police are searching for him.

Early Monday morning, a resident in the 1200 block of Beechwood Drive heard the family dog barking, then saw a car driving off.

The resident found the garage door open and discovered beer and wine were missing from the refrigerator.

The crime was caught on surveillance video. In the video, a white man can be seen walking up to a fence on the property, then unlocking the garage. The man, who originally had his shirt pulled over his face, can be seen opening the fridge and removing bottles. His face is visible when he drops his shirt to grab the bottles.

The man then walked to a neighbor's yard, where he was picked up by a vehicle.

Friendswood police said the man is young, tall, has a very distinct nose and haircut. They believe he is high-school age.

If anyone knows the man in the video, they are asked to contact Friendswood Police Department at 281-996-3300.
