HOUSTON – A woman is accused of beating her boyfriend's 7-year-old daughter while the girl was naked, according to Houston police.
Dominique Nichole Blackshire, 27, was charged with injury to a child.

According to investigators, Blackshire gave the girl a "whupping" on Oct. 16 for misbehaving.
Investigators say Blackshire forced the girl to take off all of her clothes and lay down on the bed, face down, with her arms and legs extended. Investigators say Blackshire then struck the girl with a belt at least 30 times on her left arm, left leg, left thigh and back, leaving multiple red bruises.
The girl said Blackshire placed a pillow over her head so no one would hear her scream. The girl said she was in so much pain that she could not sit after the beating.
The girl's older sister told investigators that she saw Blackshire dragging her sister by her foot and striking her with the belt. The girl confirmed that her sister was naked.
Blackshire admitted to investigators that she did spank the girl, but said she only "popped" her about five or six times. She said the girl was not naked, and that she only had the child remove her pants.
Blackshire told investigators that she was not sorry for spanking the girl, whom she believed showed no remorse for her actions, and Blackshire said she didn't think she hit the child hard enough to leave bruises.
Charges were filed and Blackshire's bond was set at $5,000.
