HPD seeking man who robbed grocery store

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department's Robbery Division is asking for the public's help in finding a robber.

Officials said at 12:05 p.m. Oct. 7, a man entered a grocery store in the 11700 block of South Sam Houston Parkway East near Interstate 45.

Investigators said the man approached the customer service desk and passed a note to the employee that said, "Only big bills, stay calm or I will blow your head off."
