Surveillance video released of fatal shooting suspect in Westchase
HOUSTON – A man is on the run in connection with a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Westchase.
The shooting happened at around 12:40 a.m. on Wallingford Drive.
Police say the victim, 27-year-old Patrick Terelle Thompson, was driving off from a friend's apartment when he was shot. Surveillance video of the shooting showed a man, who is believed to be the shooter, exiting out the gate of the apartment complex.
Thompson lost control of the vehicle and eventually crashed into a parked car. He was taking to Ben Taub Hospital, where he later died.
Police have no motive or suspects.
