HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities arrested more than two dozen people during a drug and prostitution raid at a gentleman's club in northwest Harris County.
Harris County Sheriff's deputies took around 25 people in custody around 3 a.m. Sunday at Desyre's in the 6900 block of Fairbanks North Houston.

Deputies said they were conducting a licensing check on the business to investigate illegal activity that included illegal drugs, violations of county ordinances and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission alcohol regulations.
Authorities said arrests were a part of a six-month investigation. The narcotics division received tips of an illegally run sexual-orientated business where drugs and prostitution were taking place.
Investigators started surveillance that included tips from the community and local patrol units."The drugs that were discovered range from cocaine, marijuana to ecstasy and different types of pills," said HCSO deputy Cedric Collier. "Prostitution was taking place in this establishment as well."
The Harris County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit found many violations of unlicensed alcohol sales, illegal gambling and sexually oriented business violations and prostitution. The owners had no sexually oriented business permits to operate in the county.
Deputies arrested employees and patrons for a many of offenses, including prostitution, possession of illegal drugs and violations of the SOB county ordinances.
