HOUSTON – Here in Houston, we love our green lawns, that means watering them at least once a day.
If you are lucky, have a sprinkler system, if not you have a 50 foot hose that you most likely have to lug around and fight with every single time.
But a different kind of water hose could make all that fighting a thing of the past.
We test out the Pocket Hose- Top Brass, in this week's As Seen on TV Tuesday.
The maker claims the Pocket Hose Top Brass expands once the water is turned on, up to 50 feet.
The secret is the accordion design that automatically grows with water pressure.
It's got tight sealed connectors, it's lightweight, stores super easily, can fit in your pocket, and it won't tangle or kink.
As soon as we turned on the water, it did immediately expand.
The water shot out like a regular hose, and was easily moved to other parts of the yard without getting caught up or stuck.
And once the water was shut off, the water pressure started going down.
You've got to hit a release valve at the other end of the hose, but once that's down, it shrinks up pretty quickly.
The negatives:
We had to use pliers to tighten the water spicket because we couldn't get it tight enough by hand, and that part leaked some water.
Also it's way too big to fit in someone's pocket.
You can get the pocket hose online for $12.99.
