Wiener dog runs wild during baseball game

EL PASO, Texas – A wiener dog race at a Chihuahuas baseball game didn't go as planned, but it did leave a lot of people smiling.    

The team wanted to find the fastest wiener dog in town.

A group of dogs raced down the third base line, but one entrant decided to take a tour of the ballpark while he was off his leash.

First he went to the bullpen, then he moved throughout the baseball field, and even made it to the pitcher's mound.

After a while, he finally ran out of energy.  He didn't win the race, but he did hit a home run with fans.
