Woman wanted for human trafficking in custody after chase

HOUSTON – A woman wanted for human trafficking is in custody after leading U.S. Marshals and police on a chase Tuesday.

The pursuit ended in front of a Taco Cabana on Bellaire Boulevard in Sharpstown.

Police said Jennifer Zamora was wanted in Jim Wells County about three-and-a-half hours south of Houston. Zamora is accused of trafficking illegal immigrants.
