HOUSTON – The hassle of making a doctor's appointment for minor aches and pains could soon be a thing of the past.

Walgreens is expanding a smartphone application that acts as a telemedicine service to tablets as well as personal computers. The company first began testing the app in December 2014.

The service allows people to see a doctor for everyday ailments without leaving their home or office to go and see a physician in person.

By the end of 2015, Walgreens hopes to make the service available in 25 states.
