Wobble Wag Giggle Ball put to the test

HOUSTON – Americans spent $58 billion dollars on their pets last year and in a recent survey, dog owners said they shell out just under $50 for dog toys annually.

One product hoping to get your cash is the Wobble Wag Giggle Ball. We tried the ball out with four dogs from Channel 2 employees.

Makers of the Wobble Wag Giggle Ball say unlike high-pitched squeak toys that make your dog run away, the hilarious sounds the their ball encourages pets to stay and play.

For one of our dogs, Dexter, the sounds of the ball seemed to get his attention, but he lost interest in about 10 seconds.

The same went for two of our other dog testers who were just bored with the ball.

But our last dog tester, Rowley couldn't get enough of the ball.  Even when his owner tried to put it away, Rowley still wanted to play.

If you're interested in buying one, the ball cost us $14.88.
