New glasses with interchangeable rims give users countless possibilities

HOUSTON –  Imagine one pair of glasses with countless different looks.

The idea came to Wendy Warshauer one day when she was looking through her glasses for the right pair to match her outfit.

Wendy Warshauer realized her vision had changed, rendering many of her glasses useless. That's when she started a Kickstarter campaign with a $75,000 goal.

Her company Eye Change provides customers with a basic frame for around $200.

The frames come in four different shapes: square, round, smaller and bigger.

The wearer can then pick out a variety of rims for the glasses, which come in different colors and patterns.

Those rims attach to the frames magnetically and completely change the look of the frame.

Each rim costs about $25 and prescription lenses are available.
