Teen sought in triple-homicide case

HOUSTON – Authorities are asking for the public's help to find a teenager wanted in a triple-homicide case.

On Feb. 25, Houston police officers responded to a call at an apartment complex at 5022 Mallow St. and found a body lying on the ground in the parking lot. The bodies of two other victims were discovered inside an apartment where one of the victims lived. Dale Jones, 49, Darryl O'Neal, 50, and Willie Watts, 63, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots around 6:50 p.m. and seeing two black men flee the scene.

Anthony Perkins, 28, is already charged with capital murder in the case. Investigators said they learned Perkins was the suspect after he received treatment for a gunshot wound during the shooting. He was detained after being released from the hospital.

Police are still looking for Dontraye Mayes, who is charged with tampering with evidence in this case.

Mayes, 18, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has multiple tattoos.
