HOUSTON – Taking the family out to a ball game doesn't have to break the bank.
Astros fans can find tickets to a game at Minute Maid Park for as low as $11.17 with taxes and fees, and it's possible to get into a game for even cheaper.
For example, baseball fans can bring two labels from any Coca-Cola product to the Minute Maid Box office on any Tuesday home game, in exchange for two outfield deck II seats for $5, or for two seats on the view deck for $22.
On any Monday through Thursday game, fans can bring a label from just one Coca-Cola product to get a seat in view deck 1, a hot dog, a 20-ounce Coke product and popcorn for $16. That's $10 in savings, and $64 off for a family of four.
For hungry fans, Wednesdays are always $1 hot dog night. And every Sunday home game is family day with the Astros. Kids ages 5 to 14 can run the bases after the game and play in the Minute Maid Squeeze Play Kids' Zone. A Sunday Kroger family four-pack nets four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and a parking pass for as little as $70.
There are other deals that aren't as cheap. Pay $35 to get an all-you-can-eat Mezzanine seat, and Friday nights, there are fireworks after every show. Head to Houston on the Cheap for more great Astros game deals.
