GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas – The Galveston County Sheriff's Office is investigating after deputies found a man's body bound, with gunshot wounds to the head and back.
Authorities said they responded to a call around 9 a.m. Sunday after a witness found a body on the beach between Gilcrist and High Island on the Bolivar Peninsula.

Police said the victim, Armin Quesada-Martinez, 41, was shot execution style, with his hands tied together and his mouth covered shut with black duct tape.
Investigators said Martinez was reported missing to the Harris County Sheriff's Office on Feb. 17 after he did not come home for several days. Investigators said family members contacted the Galveston County Sheriff's Office after seeing a news report about the body.
Autopsy results determined that Martinez was shot once in the back of the neck and twice in the back.
Martinez's 2006 black Chevrolet Impala is missing. It has a Texas license plate number of FCP5954. The Galveston County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information about Martinez's vehicle to contact them at 1-866-248-8477 (TIPS) or Crime Stoppers at 409-763-8477 (TIPS).
