Two arrested in prostitution bust at Sugar Land-area hotel

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Two people were arrested in a prostitution bust in the Sugar Land area.

Police said officers responded to the Hyatt Place at 16730 Creek Bend Drive in the early morning hours of Feb. 14 after a man called to complain about prostitution in one of the rooms. Officers said they found a woman and a man, different from the caller, in the room.

According to police, the woman, identified as 23-year-old Mary Thi Kim, admitted to officers that she had sold sex to at least two men. Kim, of Los Angeles, is charged with prostitution.

Stephen Douglas Goff, of Kingwood, was also charged with prostitution. Goff, 34, and Kim were both transported to the Fort Bend County Jail.
