HOUSTON – The Cache store at your local mall may soon be gone.
The specialty dress women's clothing store has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, that is the bankruptcy that helps companies re-organize.

Cache Chairman and Chief Executive Jay Margolis said as part of the process, they will close some of their 218 stores while they search for a buyer to keep most of the stores alive.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Cache has not turned a profit since 2011.
