Teen injured in skating rink brawl in southeast Houston
HOUSTON – A girl is recovering after she was trampled during a skate party fight in southeast Houston.
Thursday night around 11 at the Almeda skate rink, a fight broke out during a private party with about 200 teens.
Police say when the owner called 911, about a dozen officers were needed to stop the fighting.
During the stampede to exit the building, a girl hurt her leg, according to authorities.
She was treated on scene.
Several teens received tickets for fighting, but no one was arrested.
