As part of the test, kids played with the Mega Thunderbow, K'NEX educational blocks, Twister, Slinging Spider-Man, Beados, Flutterbye flying ferry and the Vtech Kidizoom Smartwatch.
The Flutterbye flying ferry caught the attention of most kids right away because it spins high into the air.
The kids, however, didn't seem too interested in Twister and K'NEX educational blocks.
The boys loved shooting the Mega Thunderbow, which can shoot foam arrows across a room.
The slinging Spider-Man had a slow start, but once the kids figured it out, they had a blast with it.
The Vtech Kidizoom Smartwatch was put aside because the kids didn't know how to work it, but girls loved the Beado, and made some beautiful designs with the beads.
The top two toys with the kids were the Flutterbye Fairy and Beados.
If you're looking for either of them, retailers are in a fierce battle to get you to buy one from them.
We found the Flutterbye Fairy for $29.67 at both Walmart and Amazon, and it was $29.99 at Toys R Us.
Beados are $17.99 at Toys R Us and $17.76 at both Walmart and Amazon. That's because when one retailer drops a price, the other follows within hours.
Walmart, however, is offering free shipping on both items, even though they don't meet the retailer's $50 minimum free shipping deal.
We discovered it's because they are both in the top 100 gifts on Walmart.com.
If you order any of those items, no matter the price, you can get them shipped to your home at no cost.
