Buc-ee's takes legal action against store over beaver logo

HOUSTON – A popular chain of gas stations is taking a grocery store to federal court to defend their buck-toothed beaver trademark.
Buc-ee's, a gas station and convenience store chain, is suing a small store called B-and-B Grocery for advertising with a cartoon critter called the Frio Beaver.

Both beavers sport large-toothed smiles and they're both surrounded by a bright yellow circle outlined in black.
The trademark infringement suit calls for B-and-B Grocery to stop using the beaver image on all of its marketing materials.
