Whole Foods takes over Randalls location in Memorial area

HOUSTON – Whole Foods is relocating to the location that once held a Randall's Food Market.

Randall's on South Voss near San Felipe closed its doors earlier this year after losing its lease.

Now Whole Foods is planning on demolishing the building and to build a new store that will replace its Woodway location.

Whole Foods said the new store will be twice as big as the current Woodway location.

The new Whole Foods is expected to open by late 2015.
