No description foundCONROE, Texas – A high school mascot in Conroe may have been targeted in a school prank that could land some people in hot water.
Vandals poured several gallons of blue paint over the Grady Spikes Memorial Tiger at Conroe High School on Tuesday night.
The tiger weighs 2 tons and is 13 feet from nose to tail. It stands 9 feet tall.
The bronze statue was made in 2002 as a memorial for former teacher Grady Spikes, who was also a Justice of the Peace in Montgomery County.
Conroe ISD Police believe the suspects are likely a group of juveniles.
