HOUSTON – A $10,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of one of the state's most wanted men.

Anthony Gonzales, 38, is wanted in Nueces County on warrants for murder, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Gonzales and nine gang associates were involved in a shooting at a home in Corpus Christi. An adult was killed and two children were hurt.

Gonzales is a member of the Mexican Mafia, investigators said.

All the other suspects wanted in that shooting have been arrested.

In 1992, Gonzales was sentenced to 10 years in prison for burglary of a habitation. In 2001, he was convicted of possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest using a vehicle. His criminal history includes charges of criminal trespass, failure to identify fugitive from justice, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Gonzales is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has multiple tattoos: "Mexicano" and a female shape on his abdomen, "Lil Laura" on a left finger, "Laura" on his neck, several different images on his right arm, a dragon and "Mi amor sita vida Laura" across his chest, a rosary on his left arm and a circle with a cross on his right left.

His aliases include "Ghost" and Anthony Aleman Gonzales. He has been known to work in the upholstery business.
