Two people were seen on surveillance video concealing alcohol and leaving the store without paying for it, investigators said.

A manager gave police a description of the suspects and their getaway vehicle.

Officers stopped the vehicle and detained its occupants, Cedric Richard Johnson, 32, and Stephanie Leanne Wingert, 23.

The vehicle was searched, and police said they found two bottles of vodka and a bottle of Ciroc inside.

The two were arrested and charged with theft.

Police said that when they were inventorying Wingert's property, they discovered several credit cards and checks that did not belong to her.

Investigators said the pair also tried to steal from the store about a week prior to the theft. More charges could be filed.
