Popular Galleria-area restaurant catches fire Sullivan's Steakhouse closed No description found
HOUSTON – A popular Galleria-area restaurant will be closed for at least a day after it caught fire.
Firefighters were called to Sullivan's Steakhouse, on Westheimer Road and Westcreek Lane, shortly before midnight.
Firefighters said they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the kitchen area. Some of the employees tried to put it out, but the flames got out of hand and went through the roof, authorities said.
Investigators said everyone got out safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. It will be at least 24 hours before the restaurant reopens, officials said.
