Reed was in jail at the time on an unrelated charge.
Houston police are also looking for Timothy Robinson, 17, and Jacobe White, 21, in connection with the case.
The suspects are accused of shooting and killing Phillip Little, 40.
Houston police said Little was on a routine call in the 5400 block of Madden Lane at 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 2, when the woman in the home said she did not place the order.
Little never made it to the woman's front door, and as he walked back to his car, investigators said a group of people jumped him in an attempt to rob him. During the attack, Little was shot.
The victim drove the wrong way down Martin Luther King Boulevard for several blocks before he crashed through a fence, into the back yard of a house on MLK at Canterway and through a shed. The vehicle then came to a stop in the back yard.
Little was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives believe the suspects tried robbing Little.
