2 men caught on camera robbing SE Houston store at gunpoint

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for two men who are accused of robbing a store in southeast Houston on Jan. 3.

Police said the two men walked into the Buzzy Bee, in the 8200 block of Broadway Street, around 1 p.m.

The men walked around the store as if they were customers, according to police. One of the men bought a snack and went to the restroom, police said.

The other man approached the counter and pulled out a gun. The man then jumped over the counter and started to remove the cash from the register, police said.

Both men left the store, got in a black car and left the scene.

During the robbery, police said, the man with the gun kept his finger on the trigger.

One man is described as being black, about 25 to 28 years old, about 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 225 to 245 pounds, with a light complexion. He was wearing a gray coat, blue jeans and white Adidas shoes and had a gun.

The other is described as being black, about 25 to 28 years old, about 5 feet 7 inchs to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 220 to 230 pounds. He was wearing red shoes, a black coat and black pants.
