H-E-B barbecue restaurant opens in San Antonio, features eatery chain's first drive-thru

SAN ANTONIO – H-E-B’s new barbecue restaurant, True Texas B-B-Q, is opening Friday in San Antonio.

KPRC sister station KSAT reports the restaurant is located at Bulverde Marketplace on the corner of Loop 1604 and Bulverde Road.

The restaurant will also include a drive-thru window, which is a first for H-E-B. None of the company’s other in-store restaurants offer that service.

True Texas B-B-Q will also offer breakfast tacos. Breakfast will be served from 6 to 11 a.m. when the restaurant opens.
